Powertec Wins October IT & Digital Business Award

The Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards are the region’s leading honours for business achievements. Powertec has won the October IT and Digital Business category for our latest innovation the Mobile Repeater Trailer.

It was great to be recognised in the IT and Digital Business category for our innovation that is helping to connect businesses operating in remote locations. Coverage on Wheels is our Repeater Trailer, an instant deployable mobile coverage system that can be dropped to remote sites for instant coverage. – Ran McDonald, Managing Director.

The locally designed and manufactured turnkey wireless systems include trailers, skids, temporary towers, and container towers. They are designed as turnkey systems that integrate a power and electronics subsystem into the main infrastructure. The electronics subsystem is something our engineering team designs on the Gold Coast and may be configured to be set up as a Cellular 4G-5G Repeater, Remote Internet, WiFi System, GNSS Repeater, and more. The power subsystem is also designed on the Gold Coast and generally constitutes a renewable energy system like solar, however, we can design systems using generators where required.

Made in Australia and exported to the world, Powertec’s deployable technology systems are a suite of modular and reconfigurable infrastructure platforms.

It’s now on to the annual Gala awards to compete for the Business of the Year Award to be held on 19th November at The Star Gold Coast.
