Indoor cellular mobile antennas are those designed to mount within the building to broadcast signal when connected to a mobile repeater. These types of antennas are often called repeater “service” antennas.
Indoor “service” antennas are designed to provide a certain shape of coverage. Ceiling antennas for example are designed to create a bubble of coverage shaped to cover the floor of an ordinary office building. Wall mounted antennas on the other hand are designed to project signal forward, providing mobile coverage down a hallway or warehouse aisle.
Powertec also supply a small range of antennas which are designed to sit in a location where signal is stronger, such as in a window and connect back to a repeater or modem. You’ll also find antennas that connect directly to a modem under this section.
