CEL-FI GO2 for Spark Is Now Available!

Powertec Telecommunications has confirmed that from now customers will be able to purchase CEL-FI GO2 for use on the Spark network.

As New Zealanders adapt to the new normal, demand for innovative connectivity solutions is needed.

Paul Boyce, Powertec’s Product Manager, said this highly anticipated device improves voice quality and data speeds for users in both metro and most regional areas – requiring a single bar of reception to boost the signal successfully.

“Now available in three models, CEL-FI is approved by Spark for customers to purchase to boost and distribute both 3G and 4G mobile signal simultaneously, enabling customers to get the maximum distance from a tower and maintain coverage.”

“CEL-FI products have a multitude of applications suitable for all industries. Most recently, Powertec worked with a local installer to connect residents at Summerset Retirement village in Auckland.”

The launch of CEL-FI GO2 will further complement Spark’s initiative to support customers needing connectivity to adapt to the new normal.

Product Director, Tessa Tierney said that the COVID-19 lockdown highlighted the vital need for Spark to increase coverage to its customers across the country.

“There is still more to do to boost rural connectivity right across New Zealand – but this is another step forward on a longer-term journey we are committed to travelling.”

Boyce says Spark’s new Endless Data mobile plan, coupled with a CEL-FI GO2 could mean New Zealander’s could be better connected than ever before.

“CEL-FI GO2 can offer 100dB of system gain, meaning users can experience greater reliance on cellular data for everything from working from home, streaming services and social media.”

CEL-FI GO and GO2 Reminder: Customers will still need to apply and wait 24-48 hours for a Spark site approval.
