Cambium PTP 450 900 MHz Point to Point Radio, 75 Mbps

Cambium's 900 MHz PTP 450 unit provides incredible long range wireless connectivity in non-line-of-sight (nLOS) environments. With a peak modulation scheme of 256QAM, even within tight operating conditions of the Australian 900 MHz band the PTP 450 can provide up to 75 Mb/s L1 throughput. The C009045B001A model refers to the PTP 450 connectorised radio which is used to establish 1:1 point-to-point links only (cannot be used as a multipoint subscriber).

PTP 450 900 MHz is an excellent candidate for open cut mining and quarrying operations. In these situations where the constant shift in material / overburden creates a highly dynamic environment which ordinary 2.4 or 5 GHz point to point networks cannot handle. Despite this tight restriction we still recommend using high gain antennas to reduce the considerable amount of hostile and self-interference that the 900 MHz band faces.
