This antenna is extensively on vehicles as it's a great low-profile unit meaning vehicle height clearance isn't adversely affected. When mounted to a metal ground plane performance is excellent, a great solution for vehicles using a 4G LTE modem. While technically providing some operation on 5G 3.5 GHz bands, performance is highly dependent on ground plane design. Caution should be exercised with this antenna - radiation efficiency is considerably lower and may result in decreased performance in some applications.
