RF Adapter, RP-SMA Male to SMA Male

The RP-SMA Male to SMA Male adapter is an ordinary type of coaxial adapter that has been designed to serve as an interconnect between a cable terminating with an RP-SMA Female connector and a device or cable with an SMA Female interface.

This adapter isn't common but plays a specialised role in engineering and laboratory settings, along with simply enabling the interconnection of mismatched RF components. The RP-SMA Male connector is characterised by a central socket (the opposite of a typical SMA Male connector) and internal threading, while the SMA Male connector features a central pin and internal threading.

The socket of the RP-SMA Male is designed to accommodate the pin of an RP-SMA Female connector. This RF adapter supports frequencies up to 6 GHz.
