The N Male connector is one of the most popular connectors for coaxial cables and many large antennas, WiFi access points and PTP radios use the corresponding Female interface. It can be identified by the medium sized rotating body which contains an inner thread. Its gold pin is separated from the outer body with a protective metal shroud. This nickel-plated brass N Male crimp connector is used to terminate RG-58 and LMR-195 (or equivalent) series braided coaxial cables. The connector's coupling nut is supplied standard in finger-grip format.
Installation is very simple. After preparing the cable, the pin is soldered onto the centre conductor and outer body pushed over the top until the pin sits flush. A standard 5.4 mm (.213") hex die is used to crimp the ferrule to the coaxial cable.
