Galvanized steel roof masts are designed to provide a durable, low-deflection mounting platform that withstands even the harshest weather conditions. These versatile roof masts are suitable for any pole-mounted device, including microwave dishes, weather monitoring, CCTV, solar panels, radio transmitters, data acquisition, Starlink, GPS, and surveying equipment.
The GC48 series features a collared design with two sliding collars, allowing stay bars to be attached to the center mast without compromising engineering certification. This design is safe, quick, and robust, and is available in a range of heights. The hinged footplate accommodates pitch compensation for standard corrugated iron and tin roofs.
For sub-6 GHz microwave transmission, strict tolerances regarding deflection and rotation are crucial. The large dish size associated with lower frequency operations can significantly increase wind load, making 48 mm roof masts essential for reliable point-to-point and multipoint wireless transmission in any weather condition. For 6 to 80 GHz licensed-band microwave transmission, we recommend the GC76 76 mm roof mast.
