We can recommend the best solution for you in both licensed and unlicensed frequency bands across the areas of:

  • Point to Point Wireless

Your point to point wireless network provides a network connection between two locations. These networks can operate in both licensed and unlicensed bandwidths. Network speeds range from 100Mbps up to 4Gbps when working to full-duplex. You would use this network when you are connecting two office buildings of the one company or replacing fibre or leased lines.

  • Point to Multi Point Wireless

Your point to multi point wireless network connects more than one location to one or more central hubs.  These links also operate in both licensed and unlicensed bandwidths. You can access speeds of 100Mbps up to 4Gbps. You would use this network type for connecting multiple sites of the one company together and replacing fibre or leased lines.

  • Mesh

Mesh solutions are perfect for large outdoor areas where cabling is too costly or not available like an outside shopping mall or caravan park.  The mesh provides a scalable network made up of nodes.  The wireless nodes connect automatically to the other nodes creating a single backhaul network.  The nodes will reconnect to another node when or if there is a failing in the network.

  • Wireless bridges

A wireless bridge connects two wired networks together over Wi-Fi.  The bridge connects to the internet and passes it on to the connected devices.

  • Wi-Fi Access Points

Access Points are designed to increase system capacity, extend coverage, fill in areas of low or blocked signals caused by obstructions and bridge wirelessly to remote site. Powertec supplied access points are capable of providing the highest possible data throughput and capacity that the 802.11n standards can offer.

Network Management System

If you want to control access and service plus take advantage of marketing opportunities via content management and big data analytics, then we can offer you a cloud based management solution.

The Management System provides network operators with a centralised way to remotely administrate and control the Access Points (AP’s) and the network. It supports a full suite of configuration, performance, fault, operation and administration management features and ensures high data security for users via a 3-tier user and security login.

Users can deploy a network at low cost without the need to install any physical controller.  The System allows you to automatically push the predefined configuration to an AP once it is connected to the internet. This rapid setup is perfectly suited to event types of Wi-Fi provisioning.
