MetroLinq ML2.5-60-19 60 GHz mmWave PTP Radio, 19 cm, 2.5 Gbps

The MetroLinq™ 2.5G 60 has an added advantage of being license-free in most markets globally, allowing ultra fast deployment and without the hassle of other frequency bands requiring a license. The MetroLinq™ also includes a second 5 GHz radio which can be configured as PTP (backup) to provide integrated redundancy without and additional hardware or complexity.

The ML2.5-60-19 model is a 190 mm sized unit which has a 36 dBi gain on 60 GHz and 16 dBi gain on 5 GHz. It can be used to provide gigabit connectivity up to several hundred metres.

Within Australia the 60 GHz radio may be operated on 59 to 63 GHz with a max EIRP of 150 W (51 dBm) under LIPD Class licence “licence-free”.
