Matrix enables Cost-Effective and Reliable 4G Communication

Powertec Telecommunications has recently released two new exciting Matrix products that now support 4G:

1. Matrix GFX11 4G
2. Matrix GFX11e 4G with battery backup

Matrix gateways take a mobile phone sim card and provide dial tone to landline devices, such as telephone systems, lift phones, emergency phones and alarm systems. Instead of calls going through the landline cable infrastructure, calls instead go wirelessly via the mobile network.

Often called 3G/4G Gateways, these products are perfect for when a cabled landline connection cannot be accessed such as a new shopping centre development, is not available due to the remoteness of the location, or when the NBN has been rolled out and the landline has been disconnected. Gateways are similar to a mobile phone, but they have a RJ11 telephone port and emulate a landline connection with a dial tone.
