Due to Cellferno’s focus on speed, it can act as a primary internet source or secondary wireless backup for a corporate customer’s NBN service. Powertec has designed a Cellferno kit to include all the hardware to create a carrier-grade mobile broadband Wi-Fi hotspot.
The coverage area is up to 350m of 2.4Ghz or up to 250m of 5Ghz Wi-Fi coverage, making the Cellferno kit perfect for many small to medium enterprises, factories, and warehouses.
Products included in the Cellferno Kit
- Cellferno M1200 Outdoor CPE
- 20m Outdoor CAT5e cable
- Altai IX500 Indoor/ Outdoor Wi-Fi Access Point
Cellferno uses the available 3G/4G signal to provide super-fast mobile broadband internet to multiple users. When the Altai IX500 is combined with Cellferno, the internet can be provided over a large area to many people using Wi-Fi.
Altai IX500 supports 802.11ac wave 2 with extended coverage, MU-MIMO for high user capacity and optional AltaiCare for access management.
What is 802.11ac Wave 2?
802.11ac Wave 2 is a new Wi-Fi standard which offers stronger performance and greater bandwidth to support latency-sensitive video and voice traffic. Multiple users (MU-MIMO) are easily supported by this standard, allowing greater efficiencies in busy offices where multiple devices are used simultaneously.
