Wave App & Nerd Mode

WAVE APP

The WAVE App offers a great way to find out what is going on under the hood of your PRO and diagnose issues.

Ensure both boxes are powered up and connected before starting WAVE App.

Once you open WAVE, click on the’ Advanced’ tab.

Below you will find two examples of a Telstra and Vodafone installation.

The signal level from the network is displayed for all bands that are being boosted, even 3G & 4G can be seen.

The raw signal strength can be seen under Donor RSSI:

High = -50 to -75 dBm
Medium = -76 to -90 dBm
Low = -91 to -100 dBm
Poor = -101db to -120 dBm

Ideally your PRO signal strength needs to be in the medium-high range for one of the 3G (WCDMA) and 4G (LTE) bands

The Network Unit requires a minimum of -104dB of 3G signal or -120dB of 4G signal to connect to the network..

If you do not have these numbers then visit our section on improving the boost and signal.
