Attenuators are a passive coaxial component designed to reduce signal power by a specific value without deteriorating signal quality. This N-Type RF attenuator series decreases signal strength by 6 to 20 dB in both path directions.
This attenuator is often used to reduce input power to a repeater when it reports an “input signal too strong” message, which commonly occurs when a donor antenna is mounted in close proximity to a cellular base station.
Signal strength is reduced by 6 to 20 dB nominally depending on the model, with a variation of less than 0.3 dB from DC to 6 GHz. It supports 2 Watt average power.
6 dB, 10 dB, 15 dB, 20 dB
