Repeater kits in this section all use the Cel-Fi GO G31 for Optus.
Cel-Fi GO G31 is the original and most popular model of inline repeater. Like all of the GO models the repeater picks up weak signal from an external antenna and rebroadcasts it at full strength from a service antenna. The Optus Cel-Fi GO G31 is a single-band repeater designed for rural and remote areas.
The GO G31 can be set to operate on Optus’ main 3G or 4G bands. For those in weak signal areas the main frequency band used is B28 700 MHz 4G, which the unit will usually choose automatically.
If technology is not your strong point, Cel-Fi GO can operate in auto mode. Simply plug it in, register the unit in your name, and it will start boosting the most appropriate band, providing a strong 5-bar mobile phone signal inside the car, boat, caravan, or building.
GO is an “inline” repeater, which means it sits in between the external (donor) antenna and internal (service) antenna and has the sole job of amplifying the signal power. This makes it very simple and easy to install. It’s also one tough unit, it’s built with a solid cast aluminium chassis and is IP54-rated so it can handle moisture and dust.
