As CEL-FI GO is only able to boost one frequency band at a time, a way of indicating and switching between frequency bands was developed by using a button. The button enables the selection of 3G, 4G/4GX or AUTO (band with strongest signal). An LED indicator displays which band GO is currently boosting.

Once CEL-FI GO is powered up the LED status indicator will flash a variety of colours to indicate it is going through a boot up procedure.

3G

When 3G is selected the button LED will be yellow and the status indicator will flash yellow when the GO is searching for the 3G network. Once it finds the 3G network a solid yellow indicator will be displayed. GO is now connected to 3G 850.

4G

When 4G/4GX is selected the button LED will be green and the status indicator will flash green when the GO is searching for the 4G network. Once it finds the 4G network a solid green indicator will be displayed. GO is now connected to either 4G 700 or 4G 1800, with the strongest frequency being selected. Locking the unit into either 700 or 1800 can be done using the WAVE App.

AUTO

When AUTO is selected the button LED will be blue and the status indicator will flash yellow and green when the GO is searching for the network. Once it finds 3G a solid yellow indicator will be displayed, if 4G is being boosted a solid green LED will be displayed.

ERRORS
If an operation error occurs the status indicator will flash red. This could due to the GO:

  • Not receiving a signal from the network
  • Unit disabled by Telstra
  • Input signal is too strong
  • Registration is required by user
  • Antennas are too close together

The WAVE App will indicate which error is occurring.

  • Overheating
  • Fault with hardware
